Terms of Service

By accessing or using DesignerVerse ("the Service", "Platform", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this Platform.

These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

DesignerVerse is an online learning and practice platform for UI/UX designers. The Service includes:

• Daily design challenges and briefs
• AI-powered feedback on design submissions (via Anthropic Claude API)
• The Design Oracle — an AI-assisted Q&A feature for design questions
• A leaderboard, XP system, streaks, and badge awards
• User profiles and community features
• Premium subscription with enhanced features

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

You must be at least 13 years old to use DesignerVerse. If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you must have verifiable parental or guardian consent before creating an account. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 13 years of age
• You have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
• You will comply with these Terms and all applicable laws
• The information you provide during registration is accurate and complete

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Not share your password or account access with any third party
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or otherwise unacceptable behaviour.

You agree not to use DesignerVerse to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Submit plagiarised or third-party content as your own work
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users or DesignerVerse staff
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Platform
• Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the Platform
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its related systems
• Upload content that contains malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation

Our content: All content on DesignerVerse — including challenge briefs, system design, brand assets, and software code — is owned by DesignerVerse and protected under applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit written permission.

Your content: You retain ownership of the design work you submit. By submitting content, you grant DesignerVerse a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, use, and reference your submissions for the purposes of providing feedback, operating the leaderboard, and improving the Service. We will not sell or commercially license your work without your explicit consent.

AI outputs: AI-generated feedback and Oracle responses are provided for educational purposes only and do not constitute professional design advice. Outputs may not be fully accurate and should not be relied upon without independent verification.

Premium subscriptions are billed monthly. Payments are processed securely by Razorpay (razorpay.com) — India's payment infrastructure provider. By subscribing to Premium, you agree to Razorpay's terms of service in addition to these Terms.

• All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable GST
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' advance notice
• Trial periods, if offered, convert automatically to paid subscriptions unless cancelled

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DesignerVerse shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from:

• Your use of or inability to use the Service
• Any unauthorised access to or use of our servers and data
• Any errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies in content
• Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service
• The conduct of any third-party vendors or service providers

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to DesignerVerse in the twelve months preceding the claim.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Users waive any objection to the laying of venue of any such proceeding in Bengaluru.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by sending an email to your registered address and/or by prominently posting a notice on the Platform at least 7 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.
